We are launching an exciting new provision for young people aged 11-14, beginning in Summer 2026. In collaboration with PeaceJam UK, we will be running a fun, safe, welcoming and interactive youth group which encourages young people to be people of peace in their schools and communities!  Our team is made up of compassionate and experienced staff and volunteers committed to safeguarding expertise, consistent acceptance and support, and the value and potential of every young person.

Details of activity: BD3 Youth For Peace. Wednesday evenings 5:30-7pm.

Location: The Thornbury Centre, 79 Leeds Old Road, BD3 8JX

The youth group will include social space, group games, crafts and more fun activities for young people to get to know each other and the team. There will be simple snacks and juice available. The team will also lead group discussions and activities framed around building a peaceful society and engaging with social action.

BD3 Youth For Peace aims to inspire young people to be the change they want to see in the world. To come together and overcome challenges and barriers of discrimination, and to inspire social action in their communities and beyond.
