Our vision at the Thornbury Centre is to Grow Community Together.
We seek to generate long lasting community life in the area of Thornbury and BD3. Our vision is to inspire collective participation from the local community, to look for how we care for each other, our streets and our planet.
Peace
The work of peace transcends cultures and religions. The Thornbury Charity promotes positive peace across the community. Our projects and impact are connected to building peaceful relations and caring for the most vulnerable.
Empowerment
We seek to empower local people to create social change. We work to facilitate opportunities for women and young people to learn and build their knowledge and skills for work.
Belonging
The Thornbury Centre was built to be a place where everyone can belong. We celebrate our diversity and seek to play our part in combating polarisation by strengthening cohesion across ethnic and religious diversity.
